Arnette sunglasses were founded in Orange County, California, in 1992. It is now owned by EssilorLuxottica, which has manufactured the glasses in Italy for over a decade.

Greg Arnette is the sunglass maker who launched the Arnette brand. He founded the sunglass wear brand from the trunk of a rental car evolving the company into an eyewear lifestyle brand. EssilorLuxottica bought the brand and continues its operation today.
