Myopia
Myopia means that the shape of the eye causes light to focus in front of the retina resulting in blurred vision at long distances, or nearsighted vision. Eye exams are used to diagnose myopic vision and the condition is as easy to treat as it is to diagnose. Myopia treatment can include wearing prescription glasses or contact lenses, but may also be corrected with surgery depending on the degree of correction required.
