Pupillary distance
Pupillary distance, meaning the distance between the centers of your pupils, is a common measure taken with a pupillary distance ruler to determine the precise point at which you look through the lens of your glasses. Optometrists measure pupillary distance in order to optimize vision correction when crafting lenses for your specific prescription. The average pupillary distance is 54-74 mm for adults and 43-58 mm in children.
